Daunte... he's my hero.....

Culpepper5 We might as well cut McCown now.  Culpepper isn't going anywhere.  He took control (with help from our RB's) and won the game.  If his receivers caught better, he would have had even better passing stats.  Great work Daunte!!! It feels damn good to have 2 wins after 4 games instead of after 16.

Porter-love

Jerry_porter_240x200 Culpepper has been showing the love to Jerry Porter... after just tossing his second TD of the game to Art Shells favorite bad boy.  Finally some passing offense.  Let's just hope we don't blow it in Raider fashion with a missed last second field goal.

Bitches...

At the moment I'm sitting here cussing at the Raiders defense.  They fucked up a 4th and 4, and just gave up a 60 yard run to Brown.  It's as if they want to give up the entire 14 point lead.  We'll see if this bullshit lasts the entire game or not.....

Burgess out this week...

Burgess5 Raiders DE Derrick Burgess (calf) is expected to return in Week 6.  It's not like he offered much the first two weeks of the season, but we are still better off with an injured Burgess than none at all.  That Miami offensive line would have been victimized by him this week.  Damn it!

Some of the walking wounded may play...

Xray It looks like we'll have a few players on the field who were expected to be out.  Gallery was able to put in a full practice yesterday.  So was Newberry.  Burgess wasn't able to practice, but there is hope that he'll play.  We'll need all three guys to take out the Dolphins.  Those trenches need to be ours.

McCown out for 5 weeks....

Mccown2 Josh McCown (feet) took part in no phases of Raiders practice Thursday.  As a matter of fact, it is beginning to sound like McCown might be out for over a month with his broken toe.  My guess is that Culpepper owns the starting job by the time McCown returns and JaMarcus may have even passed him on the depth chart.  Our McCown days are over.
